Description
The RYA Professional Practices & Responsibilities (PPR) course introduces seafarers to relevant legislation, including SOLAS, COSWoP, MARPOL, Flag State, Port State Authorities, and the Codes of Practice. Further more upon completing the course, you may not be able to quote all these regulations, but you will be aware of them and know where to find more information when needed.

RYA Interactive Course Access Details
To access the Professional Practices & Responsibilities course. We need to share some of your personal data with the RYA via your user profile in RYA Interactive. This online learning portal is hosted and maintained by a third party (Learning Pool). They will only use your personal information to enable your course.
We will enter your name and email address on RYA Interactive to create your user account. When you first access the site, you will need to enter your address and date of birth.
You will have one year to complete your online course, during which your personal information will be held on the RYA Interactive site. This data will be available to this training centre and the RYA to manage your course.
Wavelength Training Ltd will provide instructional support throughout your course.
Upon completing your course, we will transfer your name, email address, date of birth, and address to the RYA. This will record the course details and any certification earned.
This information allows the RYA to record your certification and update any existing records about you or your qualifications. They can also verify your certificate if needed. One year after your last login, your user account will be removed from RYA Interactive.

All RYA courses are supplied by the RYA Registered Training Centre “Wavelength Training Ltd” at our address in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland or through the RYA Interactive training site.
