The Paddlesport Safety and Rescue Course will support you to explore and practice simple strategies and safe skills that provide you with the tools to solve common paddling issues in a sheltered water environment. The course consists of 6 modules which will be covered throughout the one-day course.

The Start Award is the initial step in your paddling journey. If you’re brand new to the sport and really want to learn the basics to get started, then this is the award for you. You’ll cover everything from getting in and out of the kayak, what you need to wear and paddling forward.
BC Courses
All our kayaking courses are run by fully qualified kayakers, with years of experience. Our kayakers regularly paddle across the UK and Ireland with trips to even further afield. All our kayaking courses are run under the recognised provider Wavelength training.
