Nearly all cruising boats are now equipped with radar. According to the International Regulations for the Prevention of Collisions at Sea (IRPCS), it’s generally expected that if you have radar, you should be proficient in its use.
The course is conducted in our classroom using our Radar simulators. Additionally, we can arrange to deliver this course on board your boat if needed. Please reach out to us for further details.

Our Radar courses are conducted with a maximum of 2 people per Radar simulator, ensuring you receive ample hands-on experience with the units. All RYA courses are supplied by the RYA Registered Training Centre “Wavelength Training Ltd” at our address in Carrickfergus, Northern Ireland or through the RYA Interactive training site.
